These standard duty racks were designed for the shaper that wants versatility but still demands the stability required for exact, symmetrical shaping. Our front rack “hanger” is part of a goose neck design making the length fully adjustable along with a height adjustment. The rear rack is fully height adjustable to achieve a perfectly level working platform for your exact requirements. Adjustments are achieved with a simple tightening of 3 large “yellow BAWRACKS®” thumbscrews. This shaping rack system is made with heavy wall steel tubing, individually Tig Welded and powder coated satin black for years of durability and use (all you need to do is attach your padding or carpet to the “hat” portion of each rack).
This is also a great rack for individuals and shops to “show or demo” a finished board in a showroom. The standard duty shaping rack, with pre-drilled flanged bases, can be easily mounted to a floor with lag bolts (not included) or to our movable base system designed and manufactured for this rack.

Base for Standard Duty Shaping Rack
Our “H” pattern base is built to fit BAW’s standard duty shaping rack. 
It was designed so that you can move BAW’s shaping racks virtually anywhere to work and still keep maximum stability. This base also works great utilizing BAW’s Standard Duty Shaping Rack system for individuals and shops to “show or demo” a finished board in a showroom so it can be quickly moved anywhere. Simply attach both the base and rack system’s flanges together with the included hardware, make your adjustments (base is length adjustable), adjust the leveling pads on the base for uneven floors or surfaces, add some weight for stability if shaping (like a sandbag or two) to the base and you’re ready to go.
Length adjustments are achieved with a simple tightening of a large “yellow BAWRACKS®” thumbscrew. Also included are 4 base levelers with locking nuts. The base is made with heavy wall steel tubing, individually Tig Welded and powder coated satin black for years of durability and use.
